Traditions, culture, architecture, cuisine.  The Pustertal Valley not only offers a unique landscape but also a variety of other highlights.

In the Green Valley at the South side of the Alps, attractions abounding in history, culture and architecture are situated.  These find their expression in historical buildings and castles.

Popular sites in the surrounds are for example:
the time honoured monastery of Neustift/Novacella;
the new Messner Mountain Museum (MMM) in Bruneck/Brunico designed by the world-famous climber Reinhold Messner and realised by star architect Zaha Hadid;
the castle of Rodeneck; fort Taufers; the medieval cities of Brixen and Bruneck;
the Musuem of Popular Art of Dietenheim;
the Mining Museum of Ridnaun; the world of loden clothes in Vintl;
and of course, the Museum of Archaelogy with the famous mummy “Ötzi” in Bozen/Bolzano.
